i just had a spectroanalysis done on my oil. one of the fringe benefits of where i work. i thought id post the results.
The oil was Castrol Syntec blend. not quite synthetic, but not quite as expensive either. anyway, here are the results.

i have removed Ag, Ti and Zn from the results because, well... my car has no silver or titanium in it and the zinc was getting error readings. although zinc might be a good thing to know about if it is in bearings. also there was no tin, so i removed that as well.
